Spoken Passage:
Heavy rain falls from the sky as Malleon, the god of the giants, finally meets his end.
Now, Serya Krov, the Lady, and Njord are the last of the gods to remain.
Verse 1:
High in the sky, Queen Elena watches the giants retreat from the
Field. Gravely wounded in battle, she’s too weak to fly.
A vampire noble carries her, she remembers her life, her five centuries of
Pain. She won this battle but lost the war, for soon she will die.
Chorus 1:
Katrina will rule the world, for the vampire god.
With her violent nature, she’ll spill rivers of blood.
Elena’s order and justice will soon reach its end.
She’ll do what it takes (she’ll do what it takes), her world to defend.
Verse 2:
One last card she must play, her final move in the great game of the
Gods. Three champions are left, and Serya Krov has the best chance to win.
She can’t get to Katrina, she’s too far away, but Kirill is still within reach.
He’ll answer her summons, for she’s still the vampire queen.
Chorus 2:
She finds him watching her, when she opens her eyes.
She’s grown weaker, yet he won’t see her demise.
He’s served her well for three decades, through greatness and decline.
Now she needs him to serve her, one last time!
Verse 3:
Serya Krov comes to see her, now she must wait, Kirill’s out of her
Reach. The vampire god points to the giant’s sword at her side.
It’s the god-killing blade, she could take the Lady’s life, and get her revenge
For Dragos’s death. But that wouldn’t swing the war’s tide.
Chorus 3:
Her dream of order and justice is nearing its end
She’ll do what it takes (she’ll do what it takes), her world to defend.
The Reaping Blade’s in her hand now, and with a moment’s start
She leaps toward Serya Krov, and stabs him through the heart!
Verse 4:
Together they soar into the sky, for the last time in her
Life. He asks her why, and she tells him she couldn’t let Katrina be queen.
When Serya Krov dies, the army’ll keep fighting, and soon, Hearthstone will
Fall. Njord will remain the last of the gods, the great war he’ll win.
Chorus 4:
Their final moments of sharing, of truths and of lies,
Then Serya Krov dies, and rain pelts her wings as she falls from the sky.
Her world of order and justice is now a long lost dream
Yet she did what she had to, Ethasar to defend.
Final words:
Her world of order and justice is now a long lost dream
Yet she did what she had to, Ethasar to defend.
