Verse 1:
Across the stormy seas she sailed, a former queen now bound.
They placed her in the dungeon, a cold cell beneath the ground.
They took her son away, yet Frida would not bow,
She touched the scars upon her chest and made a silent vow.

Chorus 1:
Whatever he tries,
He will not break me,
I will not be broken
As long as I’m alive.
I’ll rescue my son,
I’ll take him to safety,
And Anders the Betrayer
Will die.

Verse 2:
From one small meal, she stole a bone and ground it on the stone.
She carved it sharp with steady hands, a weapon of her own.
A blade that she could use to kill her guards and to break free,
But first she had to learn the truth of where her son would be.

Chorus 2:
Whatever he tries,
He will not break me,
I will not be broken
As long as I’m alive.
I’ll rescue my son,
I’ll take him to safety,
And Anders the Betrayer
Will die.

Verse 3:
She thought of Njord and roaring waves that ruled the raging sea,
Of heroes who had faced the storm and carved their destiny.
Her son still lived, though far away, beyond her reach and sight,
And in her heart she found again the strength to rise and fight.

Chorus 3:
Whatever he tries,
He will not break me,
I will not be broken
As long as I’m alive.
I’ll rescue my son,
I’ll take him to safety,
And Anders the Betrayer
Will die.

Verse 4:
They led her out in iron chains to stand before his throne,
Her hidden blade still close at hand, a weapon of her own.
He said Silvanus had been killed, her eldest son had died,
And all the strength she’d built within gave way as Frida cried.

Chorus 4:
Whatever he tries,
He will not break me,
I will not be broken
As long as I’m alive.
I’ll rescue my son,
I’ll take him to safety,
And Anders the Betrayer
Will die.

Verse 5:
Ulrika came with steel in hand, her warriors cleared the way.
The guards rushed in to end her life, but Frida made them pay.
Her blade of bone struck fast and true, she left the two men dead,
Her son was safe, she fled at once, with vengeance still ahead.

Chorus 5:
Whatever he tried,
He did not break me,
I will not be broken
As long as I’m alive.
I’ll go to my son,
I’ll take him to safety,
And Anders the Betrayer
Will die.

Ending:
I’ll go to my son,
I’ll take him to safety,
And Anders the Betrayer
Will die.
