Last of the Gods

Verse 1:
Augustus of the Julians was the first of the gods to die.
Then Grok the All-Father was defeated, beneath the eastern sky.
Five gods remained, and for the end of the war they had to prepare:
Malleon, the giants’ god, his hammer in the air,
Aljin of the desert men, shrouded in mystery,
Njord, a force of nature, the blue god of the sea,
The Lady, goddess of a realm of chivalry and might,
And Serya Krov, the vampire god, a terrifying sight.

Chorus:
They’re the last of the gods now,
Four must die for one of them to win, the
Winner will take all their powers, and
Fight the Vengeful One.

Verse 2:
To the empire’s capital Lucius returned with his Islander allies,
He placed Njord’s champions in a fortress, protected from any surprise.
With the desert men’s capital under siege, Aljin’s fate seemed at an end,
The cannons pierced the walls, yet King Ammon bravely did defend.
Growing ever weaker, Queen Elena to Hearthstone arrived,
She sought to slay the Lady’s champions, none of them would survive.
Katrina took King Ammon’s life, another victory she claimed,
And with Aljin finally defeated, only four gods remained.

Chorus 2:
They’re the last of the gods now,
Three must die for one of them to win, the
Winner will take all their powers, and
Fight the Vengeful One.

Verse 3:
With her army besieged at Hearthstone, the Lady gave birth to twins.
Malleon’s giants marched to her aid and the battle did begin.
With the Reaping Blade in his hand, Eldris strode to the top of a hill
To battle Queen Elena, a great prophecy to fulfill.
Watched by their gods and by the Lady, they fought with all their might,
Though gravely wounded, Elena struck the blow that won the fight.
With one last prophecy, Malleon perished, with three of his champions slain,
And Serya Krov, the Lady, and Njord were the last ones to remain.

Chorus 3:
They’re the last of the gods now,
Two must die for one of them to win, the
Winner will take all their powers, and
Fight the Vengeful One.

Verse 4:
Elena knew that Serya Krov had the greatest odds to win,
But her own death was drawing near, and another would rule supreme.
She’d dreamed of a world of order and justice, but her dream was at an end.
From the vampires’ violent nature, Ethasar she had to defend.
The Reaping Blade, she’d won in battle, and with a moment’s start
She leaped toward the vampire god and stabbed him through the heart.
They died together, high in the sky, and with Serya Krov slain,
Njord and the Lady were the last of the gods to remain.

Chorus 4:
They’re the last of the gods now,
One must die for one of them to win, the
Winner will take all their powers, and
Fight the Vengeful One.

Verse 5:
Though their god and queen were gone,
The vampires’ army still fought on,
The Lady was their foe, they wouldn’t
Let her rule the world.
Their cannons pummeled Hearthstone’s walls,
The Lady’s champions had to fall,
Anders, the betrayer, fought
Again for the sea god, Njord.
His champions safe, he’d surely win,
But when Njord saw the Lady’s twins
He couldn’t take their mother away
And so, he chose to die.
With Lucius and Queen Sandra wed,
Katrina slain, the realms well led,
Armed with the seven gods’ powers,
The Lady took to the sky.

Chorus 5:
She’s the last of the gods now,
Six have died, and only she remains,
She must wield all their powers, and
Defeat the Vengeful One.

Repeat Chorus 5.
