In the night, flaming arrows whoosh through the 
Air. Queen Elena’s tent is on 
Fire. Our enemies attack us, as she has foreseen.

We watch the tent burn. From a safe distance
Away. For our queen’s signal we
Wait. As the sounds of the fighting draw closer, she spreads out her wings.

We fly. Then, folding our wings, we swoop
Down. With swords, fangs, and talons, we
Fight. For Queen Elena and for our vampire god.

Our enemies fall. They fight, and scream as they
Die. We tear wide gaps through their
Lines. Our serfs surround them and cut them down.

Their leader fights on. With a fear spell, I force him to
Flee. He cuts his way through our
Men. His soldiers charge me, I lose sight of him.

Queen Elena returns. The last of our foes we 
Defeat. Their archers, no longer a
Threat. She sends her guard to bring back the leader alive.

He comes back. Sir Robin slumps to the
Ground. His fight is lost, he
Concedes. He surrenders the castle and begs for the lives of his men.

But it’s too late. Our nobles take to the
Sky. The blood rage is upon them
Now. They’ll take the castle, no one will be left alive!

She’d have them stand down. But she can’t control them, not 
Now. They’ll turn against her, if she
Tries. I must stop her now, or they will tear her apart!

Our nobles fly. Then, folding their wings, they swoop
Down. With swords, fangs, and talons, they
Kill. With the blood rage upon them, they tear our enemiiiiies

Apart. Loud screams, cut short as they
Die. Bodies thrown down from the
Sky. The battle is won but the killing goes on.

Our god arrives. “Feast, my children!” he
Shouts. Queen Elena now looks to the
Side. But this is our nature. Together we take to the sky!

For her we all fight. World of order and justice in
Sight. Our nobles all soar in the
Night. Our first victory won, but the War of the Seven goes on!
