War of the Seven

Verse 1:
The War of the Seven has begun, the Islanders fight for Njord,
But King Knut, their first champion, died before they left the fjord.
Chosen as queen, Frida, to the Verdant lands she sailed,
But within days, she lost a champion and suffered Anders’s betrayal.
Eldris, the giant, awakened, the Reaping Blade in his hand,
Al-Khanjar killed Marcus, who his emperor did defend,
Augustus and the Lady, in their love’s fiery dance,
Forged a pact of non-aggression, leaving nothing to chance.

Chorus:
In the War of the Seven,
All the champions are bound together,
They must fight each other, in the
War for the fates of the gods.

Verse 2:
Rejecting Frida’s offer of peace, Queen Marion did attack,
But Frida and Gunnar’s cannons sent her scurrying back.
The orc horde spilled into the empire, but one of their champions died,
A pact they forged with the desert men, beneath the eastern sky.
Queen Elena’s vampires marched, her army vast and strong,
She sought revenge for Dragos’s death, her vengeance denied for too long,
With fangs and talons and blood rage, the vampires fought and killed,
Al-Khanjar did strike again, a Julian champion’s heart stilled.

Chorus:

Verse 3:
The wisest of the gods, Augustus, knew he would prevail,
Trained with visions and a game of strategy, young Lucius would not fail.
An alliance with Queen Frida, her men and cannons on his side,
With the Julians’ well-trained legions, the fate of the war he’d decide.
To the Julians’ scorched earth tactics, the orcs’ great horde fell prey,
They tried to storm a city, failed, and retreated in disarray.
In the north, Katrina, who called herself queen, Elena did defy,
Protected by the vampire god, she’d spread her wings and fly.

Chorus:
In the War of the Seven,
All the champions are bound together,
They must fight each other, in the
War for the fates of the gods.

Verse 4:
Struck by poisoned arrows, Queen Elena did survive,
On two fronts, she had to fight, to keep the vampires’ hopes alive,
The giants strode into her kingdom, Dragos Castle their aim,
While Queen Marion’s army drew closer, victory to claim.
The desert men’s assassin moved through darkness unseen,
He cut his way through the Companions, to strike down the Verdant Queen,
But Marion, clad in armor, met him with sword in hand,
With skill and guile, she bested him, bringing forth his end.

Chorus:

Verse 5:
A wave of heat, a heart gave way,
Another Julian champion slain,
Augustus understood his reign
Had reached its final day.
The War of the Seven, he would not win.
The Lady, pregnant, carrying twins,
He’d meet his children for the first time
In a thousand years.
Six gods must die, for one to win,
The Lady, pregnant, carrying twins,
She must prevail, she will not fail,
But her enemies are strong.
Orcs and giants, desert men,
Elena’s vampires, Islanders,
They’ll all keep fighting for their gods,
In the War of the Seven’s song.

Chorus:

Repeat Chorus.
