You love computer games and/or tabletop games. So do I. As a result, War of the Seven and the rest of the books in the Ethasar Chronicles contain many fun gaming elements.

We have a great war between seven factions with different cultures, with the fates of their gods at stake. We have a last-god-standing competition with the world as its arena. We have four champions for each faction, and their lives (and deaths) matter. We have a god-killing weapon, fierce warriors, deadly assassins, Vikings with cannons, enchanted suits of armor, and several kind of magic. And one of the main characters is training to become the world’s greatest general, with the help of a tabletop battle game designed by the gods.

On top of that, the books have an “achievement unlocked” mechanism for you as a reader. Every few chapters, you’ll find a link to a song about an important hero or event from the book. You can listen to the songs as you reach them, or simply move on to the next page. As you finish the book, you’ll find a link to all the songs.
